Soft Skills Coaching

There are two main goals of these services.

Firstly, to quickly make an impact through tailored support. Achieved first by a free consultation giving an opportunity to become familiar with your needs and suggest a way forward.

Secondly, to make lasting change using summary sheets. These are used for support along the journey and can be used to remind you in the future greatly reducing the need for future sessions.

What to expect:

After the first free consultation session subsequent sessions often begin being informative and then with plenty of opportunity for practice. Information can be presented in a variety of ways including very short stories, real life examples, summary sheets, a brief presentation and so on. Information is presented as suggestions so you can choose to work on what feels right for you.  â€‹â€‹â€‹

Practice usually starts off with Elliot demonstrating or showing a video and then the client practicing the skills with feedback. The practice starts in small steps, at the client's pace and with patience and encouragement from Elliot.

Brain Rewiring

If our mind is like a field, each thought is like us walking along stamping down the grass making a path. Our next thought is likely going to walk down the same path and trample the same grass.

This training focuses on creating new paths for our thoughts to walk along...

What do the sessions look like for Brain Rewiring?

The first session is free and commitment free to build a positive professional relationship and to allow us to understand your goals. To conclude, Elliot will suggest a way forward and you can decide outside the session in your own time if you would like that support.

Often support for the Brain Rewiring will include some teaching of the theory to help with understanding, tailored activities, personalised audio recordings to listen to and 1-1 check-ins to monitor progress and alter any activities or audio recording if needed.

02

Transformative support

The first session is free and free of commitment. The right fit between counsellor and client is important and this first session facilitates that. Take the first step to improving your mental health risk free.

03

Informative and Interactive

Where applicable teaching of Psychology or Philosophical ideas can help give us the vocabulary to better communicate our problems and subsequently point them out. Summary sheets are provided which can support clients during the session and as future reminders.

Sessions are tailored to the client and can include activities such as Philosophical thought experiments, creative writing/drawing tasks or visualisation exercises to name a few.
